DAY 01 : MUMBAI / AURANGABAD

DAY 07 : BHOPAL / SANCHI / AGRA (By Train)
Morning drive to Sanchi which is 46 Kms from Bhopal. Sanchi represents the masterpieces of Buddhist art. It is known for its Stupsa, Monasteries and Temples. Afternoon transfer to the railway station to board the train for Agra. On arrival transfer to the Hotel O/N at Hotel.

DAY 08 : AGRA
Agra reflects its Mughal Heritage and architecture most conspicuously. Morning city tour of Agra visiting the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the Itmad-ud-daulah’s tomb. Evening at leisure. O/N at Hotel.

DAY 09 : AGRA / GWALIOR (By Train)
Morning board the train for Gwalior (Dep 0815 hrs – Arr 0915 hrs). Afternoon tour to visit the Gwalior Fort, Jai Villas Palace and Scaindia Museum. O/N at Hotel.

DAY 10 : GWALIOR / ORCHHA (119 Kms)

DAY 13 : VARANASI
Varanasi is the oldest city in India. It is an important centre of Hindu Pilgrimage. The focus of interest to a visitor is the sacred river of Ganga. Early morning we take a boat ride on the river Ganges. Continued by a city tour. Afternoon proceed to Sarnath where one can experience the Buddhist culture. DAY 14 : VARANASI / DELHI (By Flight)

DAY 03 : DARJEELING
Facing the towering Himalayas and surrounded by high green hill covered with coniferous forest, Darjeeling is perched literally on the roof of the world. Situated at an altitude of 2134 mtrs. Admits the shadow of the mighty Kanchenjunga, the town of Darjeeling is a maze of steps and terraces. Early morning drive to tiger hills to get a spectacular view of Mt. Kanchenjunga at Sunrise. DAY 04 : DARJEELING / PEMAYANGTSE (110 Kms. 5 Hrs)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Pemayangtse. This place perched at a height of 2085 mtrs. is the second oldest and one of the most important monastery in Sikkim. On the walls of this monastery are thousand of vivid images of Gods and Demons. The 108 monks living here are from the Bhutia families of Sikkim. The view of the surrounding mountain ranges from this monastery is spectacular. O/N at Hotel.

DAY 05 : PEMAYANGTSE / KHECHEOPARLRI / YUKSAM / PEMAYANGTSE (90 Kms. 4 Hrs)
We drive to Khecheoparlri Lake. This is the holy lake of the Sikkim people. We visit the Tashiding Monastery. From here we drive to the sacred spot of Yuksam. This place is nestled in a pine forested area with crystal clear mountain lakes. A stupa marks the spot where three Lama performed the consecration ceremony of the first ruling monarch. DAY 06 : PEMAYANGTSE / GANGTOK (118 Kms. 5 Hrs)
Morning drive to Gangtok. On arrival transfer to hotel. Perched at top at a height of 1520 mtrs. Lies Gangtok, a tantalizing town touched by a Panorama of colours. Afternoon S/S of Gangtok town visiting Enchey Monastery, Deer Park, Orchid Sanctuary. O/N at Hotel.

DAY 07 : GANGTOK
Early morning drive to Tashi View Point which provides a view of Mount Khangchez Dzonga and Mount Siniolchu, with monasteries dotting the entire mountain side. Afternoon visit to Rumtek Monastery, Phodang Monastery, Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology. Evening free. O/N at Hotel.

DAY 08 : GANGTOK / KALIMPONG (77 Kms. 3 Hrs)
Morning drive to Kalimpong. This town is quite sceneric and colourful in its own way. This picturesque town is noted for its cultural institutions, schools and for its Tibetan Monastery on Tirpai Hill. O/N at Hotel.

DAY 04 : LEH / SHANKAR / SPITUK / PHYANG / LEH
Morning visit to the Shankar and Shanti Stupa. We continue to Spituk Gompa, built 500 years ago. This monastery is the seat of the head Lama of Ladakh, now contains a new Gompa within its walls and exquisite Tankas (Tibetan cloth paintings). It also contains an exceptional collection of old masks. We make a visit to Phyang Gompa. O/N at Hotel.

DAY 05 : LEH / SHEY.TIKSE / HEMIS / LEH
Situated on a hillock 15 Kms. upstream from Leh, lies Shey – the fifteenth century summer place and monastery that belongs to the royal family of Leh. Inside is the largest Buddha statue in Ladakh 40 feet high. The next attraction is the 800 years old Thiksey Gompa. There are 10 temples containing more great relics and fine wall paintings. Afternoon we visit the Hemis Gompa. Built in the 1600. This monastery is an imposing architectural wonder. It is one of the wealthiest, best known and biggest Gompa of Ladakh. O/N at Hotel.

DAY 06 : LEH / ULETOPKO
Morning drive to Uletopko. Enroute visit Alchi monastery. Here one can see a collection of Gigantic painted clay statues of the Buddha and hundreds of other small paintings, 1000 years old. Uletopko is on a river bank. O/N in tents.

DAY 07 : ULETOPKO / LAMAYARU / ULETOPKO
Morning drive to Lamayaru. Full day visit of Lumayaru monastery. O/N at Uletopko.

DAY 08 : ULETOPKO / RIZONG / LEH
After breakfast visit Rizong monastery. Depart for Leh. Enroute visit the ruins of Baszo castle. O/N at Hotel.

DAY 09 : LEH
Day free at Leh. O/N at Hotel.

DAY 10 : LEH / SARCHU
Drive to Sarchu (9/10 Hrs). The scenic view is magnificent. O/N in Tent.

DAY 11: SARCHU / JISPA (13000 Ft / 3960 Mts) (145 Kms. 6/7 Hrs)
The climb is gradual. The pass itself is a level stretch of 8 Kms. With a small lake at the Top. From here the snow covered peaks of the Barashigri, Chandrabhaga and Mulkila ranges towering well above 6000 Mts. Are visible. We reach the checkpost of Darcha and then to jispa where the camp is set for the night.

DAY 12 : JISPA (10978 Ft / 3347 Mts) / MANALI (6324 Ft / 1928 Mts) (Drive 145 Kms 6/8 Hrs)
The road gose past Keylong. Following the Chandra River the journey takes us to the confluence of Baga. The landscapes changes dramatically from the barren hillsides to the greenery landscape. We pass the Lahoel Valley and then the road winds up to the Rothang Jot and then on to Manali. O/N at Hotel.

DAY 13 : MANALI
Morning visit Manali Town which is quite scenic, surrounded by pine trees. O/N in Hotel at Manali.

DAY 14 : MANALI / NALAGARH
Morning drive to Nalagarh Fort Palace. Day to explore this Palace. O/N at Hotel.

DAY 15 : NALAGARH / CHANDIGARH / DELHI (By Train)
